Inserting the Battery and Memory Card

1 Open the LCD panel.

2 Turn off the power.

3 Open the battery cover as shown in the illustration.

4 Insert an SD card (sold separately) into the SD card

compartment until it clicks into place.

5 Insert the battery. Make sure that the + and – symbols

on the battery line up with the + and – symbols on your

camcorder.

6 Close the battery cover.

Note

Once you open the battery cover, the power of camcorder will be cut off.•

Charging the Battery

Before charging:

Make sure that the camcorder is turned off and the battery is inserted before starting.•

Before charging via computer, be sure that the computer is turned on.•

It is recommended to charge the battery for at least 8 hours before the ﬁ rst time usage.•

1 Open the LCD panel.

2 Turn off the power.

3 Open the I/O cover.

4 Plug the Micro USB connector to the Micro USB port of

your camcorder using the Micro USB cable.

5 Charge the battery. Choose one of the following two

options:

A. Using the AC adapter

i. Plug the other end of the USB cable to the AC adapter.

ii. Plug the AC adapter to a wall outlet to start charging.
